I bought new sparkly shoes for new year! They're these black shoes with a short heel, covered toes and covered heels, with sequins all over and a little black bow at the top. (:



And can I tell you how ngirenwgnorkigtnijne asdf HAPPY I am that NICK AND STARR! won the Amazing Race?! I watched the simulcast thingy. So HAPPY! :D

And what Ken did to Tina at the end was really sweet. (:

HEY. Just going to make a short post about today, then I shall talk about Taylor's album, which is now playing for the 98th time this week.

`kay, so I woke up at 6.30am today, went back to sleep and woke up again at 7.15am. I def. shouldn't stayed up that late the yesterday night reading Deathly Hallows for the 4985987358 time.

OKAY. Back to the topic. :D and then I "walked quickly" to the interchange, and was just in time. The bus arrived just as I stepped into the interchange. OMG freaky. D:

Then I sat on a seat and stoned there until I reached. :D

Then I walked to the school, and walked up and down the stairs two times, because I was still in that morning blur state, and finally walked to the library to meet Esther and the rest. I stoned there for 5 minutes and just peeked at their computers (because I was too lazy to turn on mine. D:)

and then we all went to the wu guan. :D we played captain's ball, in which I took part in the plan to help qian yi get to wan qing's group, but it still didn't work. damn.

My group won, and the other group had to do push-ups. HAHAHAHAH. oops. sorry. [/xin zai le huo -ing]

then, we did usual ji ben gong, then blah blah blah, and we did about 30 rounds or so of xuan feng jiao omg. I think I improved just by a little little little bit. :D

Then we did ji ti, and I didn't even touch my qiang at all. :D

OMG our ji ti quan rocks! I'm so excited on finishing it. ;D

then after training, we went to popular to buy books, and we all walked to the bus stop together
("we" meaning Esther, Yee Win, Moony and me) and Yee Win was attempting to do nan quan on the pavement. And me and Esther took out our phones to take a picture of her, but she always turned away. So now I have a picture of Yee Win acting cool with her jacket. wahahaha.

then Yee Win and I saw our bus, and ran like mad women. :D we caught it on time thank goodness, and it was so empty! the 67 bus right in front of us was so full! haha, we were so lucky.

We had a convo on friday about it, and we were debating over a lot of ideas. Wan Qing got quite frustrated with us I think. D:
Then I started typing all caps and trying to get everyone to an orderly decision, which worked, and I went something like;

then nat went something like "monitor tips 101"

Okay, updates on thursday and friday. :D

Okay so, thursday we had the silly leadership training/first aid training. AND THE GIRL TO GIRL TALK. XD
We had the Girl to Girl talk first thing in the morning, and it was er... weird. o_o They were talking about how to keep your skin smooth and clean etc, and they did a live demo on cleansingtoningmosturising on Gao Ge! :D
Then they taught us about hemhem, and showed us a cartoon video on how to put on hemhem, which looks terribly painful, and I'm never going to put it anyway. D:
And then we had leadership training in LT2, and we learnt about communication skills, and stuff, and we split into groups for a sort of amazingt race. I nearly caught a butterfly! urgh.
The amazing race thingum was quite fun. So Phia and Wan Qing were writing on everyone's hands, and it stayed there for the rest of the day. xD
Then we had first aid training, which I'm sorry to say that I only payed attention for the first half of the talk, because Callie was starting to randomly poke Wan Lin and I joined in and Wan Lin went to sit someone else and Callie still wanted to poke Wan Lin and she crawled under a table to do so, and I was laughing like crazy at the sight, and Wan Lin went to sit at the back an we had to go "We come in peace". xD
Then we er... slacked? I honestly can't remember what happened next, so I'll directly skip to training.
TRAINING WAS TERRIBLE. sknfdifasfdfr. Lucky Hilary and Qiu Hao!
First we ran around the mat 10 rounds, then we did ji ben gong about twice what we usually do, and then we did jumping about 10 or so rounds and we did cartwheels for about 6 rounds or so, which equals to a total of about 12 cartwheels done. D:
Then we trained, and I didn't lift my qiang high enough blahblahblah, and then it was 5, and the coach asked for us to gather (ji he) and I thought we finished with training, but acutally we hadn't and Chai gave us PT.
First it was 4 sets of:
15 jump-knee-hugs, 20 star-jump-kneel-leg-stretch-leg-back-jump and 20 knee-jump-hug-alternates.
Then he made us go to ma bu and whe he counted to three, push upwards on tiptoe. we did that about 10 or so times. Then he saw we still had time and told us to do 100 tiptoes.
ONE ****ING HUNDRED. >__>
Then we went home, and Ser Yeen and I joked we might consider Infocomm because it looked so slack. D:

Friday, which was yesterday, we er.... wait. I think I forgot. Meep. Er.... we er.... made fishes for C&D nite, and I honestly can't remember anything else.
MY MEMORY FAILS ME. D:
But I do remember we had C&D practice, and the teacher flared up at us. And it was scareh. D:
We got to the part where Wan Lin was talking to Wan Qing and she came running and we all had spasms. D:

Today's topic is: Interact'08! and my birthday. o__o
Interact '08 was the coolest and the best. First I arrived at the conference room, and I put down my bag and went to sit with Amelia and the rest. Then I was given my camp tee, and I changed into it. My group sat in a circle and tried to get to know each other, but there was indeed awkward silence. D:
Sec 1s in my group: Jie Lin, Cherie, Shauna, Moony(Boon Hui), Rachelle. Our leader was a sec 3 named Clara. And our facil. was En Han.
And then we got all our picnic stuff and handphones etc and went for the amazing race, which was quite fun lah. I got to know some of my group mates. :D
Then we ran around the CBD, and it was damn tiring lah. D: Then we went back to school because it was nearly times up and we played capatains ball in the quadrangle, and I got to talk to some of the people from the other team and I only touched the ball like 5 times, and Clara was damn pro at Captain's Ball, and shuana was so er..... agile. :D at catching the ball.
Then we had this lecture and roleplay on hosting skills. I was the registration person for the second round.
And then we had some icebreaker were we had to say our name, class, cca, one interesting fact, and I found out there was someone else sharing same birthday as me!!! :D Her name is er... Daphne? Her name is Stephanie, according to Callie. :D and she's very nice, but I didn't get to speak to her much. D: She knows a bunch of people from 112 and 113. :D
Then we had a school tour. OH MAN I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO LEAD A TOUR IN CHINESE. D:
and then we went to bathe, and my group, group 7 took over the toilet on the third level nearest to 212 213 that side. :D
Then we er.... had dinner! <3>DAY 2.
I woke up at like 6.45am and ate leftover bread, which was quite nice. :D Then we had to play the Squirrel and Trees game, and then reflections after breakfast. :D Then we uh....went back to the conference room, and planned next year's orientation. Actually I don't see the point of a orientation t-shirt, because anyway they only get to wear it once. o__o
Then is it the David debate thingy? yeah, my group was just slacking through the debate. xD
Next we got ready for the water games! :D
The water games were damn fun, and we got splashed all over with water, soap and shampoo. Haha, SHAMPOO. For one of the stations we had the style someone's hair with shampoo, and we had fun throwing shampoo bubbles at each other and messing up with each other's hair. :D It was sunsilk shampoo, and it made the hair look really shiny. O__O
Haha, then we went to dry ourselves and ate fried beehoon, then debrief and then I went home. :D

Home Econs! Our udon + tonkatsu + potato salad!
It was quite fail at first, because we were the slowest group, but in the end we SUCEEDED. So achieved. :D hen you cheng jiu gan. :D
Then was LA, which we did the Socratic Seminar thing. FUNNNN.
And then we had a little party in the Home Econs room during lunch. Just a few of us, not many. My group[Amelia, Vanny and I] and Nat, Danielle, So Phia, Sammy, Gah Yarn/Gahee, Bren and Callie.[*ugh, I have horrible memory, so SORRY if I left your name out. D:] I forced So Phia to finish the Potato Salad. Haha.

Er.... My memory fails me maaaan.
During Speecd Training, I "died". D: Got "knocked down" by Callie the "drunk maniac driver", while saving my "little sister" Fiona. :D

Callie introduced me to the Gummy Bear Song, which is damn funny. We tried making different adjectives to fit the song. :D
Tian Jiao sat with Callie and I during LA. Tian Jiao is damn fun to be with man. :D
And then Fiona, Callie and I went to see Ma Lye to ask if we could have CIP hours for our beach cleanup that we three organised. She said yes! Then Fiona and I asked if we could appeal for PSL, becuse we both didn't get in. D: Ms Lye said she'll tell us. :D YAY!
Then we had chinese! Gosh, it was the BEST chinese class I ever sat for. :D We played this culture game, in preparation for our culture test. D: :D [*because the culture test is bad and the game is good, therefore 2 smilies.]
Oh, I grouped with Gahee, Rachel/Lychee, CS and Callie! We won 16 points, or 15 sweets[which consisted of chocs and skittles and seaweed peanuts, which no one took, the excpetion of Callie and Gahee.] because we dropped one choc on the floor. D:
Our strategy for the game was absolutely top secret. :D Yes, we had a plan. :D

Friday[aka todayyyyy]
Fridays are awesome. Need I say more? XD
I LOST MY NAME TAG AND AM SUPER DEPRESSED. [at first]
Assembly was first [it rained. I told hannah that if we all fell sick the next day, we knew what to blame] , then bio quiz which sucked. D: I think I failed again. D: D: D: D: D: D:
Then er.... PE! Which was fun. We played captain's ball-ish game, but you have to hit the cone on the opposite side. Not topple over, but hit. Topple over is accepted. :D
Er...then Chinese, we had to write a compo, and SUDDENLY, my Chinese cheem-ness, I mean vocab, reached a new high. I wrote words that I didn't know I could write before. I IMPROVED! SINCE PRIMARY SCHOOL! EVEN MY ENGLISH IMPROVED! :D Nanyang is NOT a chee-na school okay. :D
And then Geog[haze presentation] and lastly MUSIC which was sucky at first because I think I failed my music quiz BUT we got to choose our instruments for project! I chose the keyboard. I think I'm the only one in the class who did. XD Fiona picked the organ, Callie picked Wan Qing's guitar, WL chose the metallaphones, and Jun Hui-Jie picked the tamborine. As you may have guessed, we are in the same group!
Then I went home with Jun Hui-Jie and I ate Mcdonald's grape flavour burst, which I warn you, is totally stupid, because all the grape flavour is at the bottom, and I just tastes like vanilla cone at the top. D: Zao zhi dao jui bu mai le.....
And it was raining. Therefore this post's title, "Eating Ice-cream in the rain".

Callie got her piano exam today.

Yay, today at lunch, Callie called. In the middle of Helpers meeting. people were STARING. ><

Then I went for lunch with my lollipop, and then voted in the elections. Their speeches were so pro! So much confidence! :D

I'm not planning to be a councillor though. But maybe if I don't get to be a PSL. :D

And then went back to class with Jun Hui, and it was so funny! You know the gigantic banners they put outside of our class, it flew upwards and flew into the third level coridor! So we kept hitting them down, and it was terribly funny.

And guess what?-In the bibliography, Janelle, Su Yun, Kai Wei and Tay Min's names appeared! The group used their project for reference I guess. I was uber excited. We played with xylophone during music.

Bom training

It was more fun than I expected!

srsly! xD First we had a icebreaker, which we had to say our name, class and cca. I think I know most of the BOM's names know.

Then we played whacko, which was super funny, because one of the Amandas kept getting sabo-ed. And Chloe kept calling Yu Shan's name. xD

And then we got split into four groups for "amazing race" I got grouped with Shi Chen and Chloe, and a bunch of sec 3s and twos. ;D

We had to run around the school collecting numbers for a handphone number we must call to win and a sentence we must tell the person. ;D I was "in charge" of remembering the words with chloe.

And they made no sense.[at first]

They were the hanyupinyin of chi words, with no biaodianfuhao. e__e

Then we won!!!! Whoo. We got some sweets as the prize. Lychee flavoured! And we had lunch, which was chicken rice with veggies.

Then we had this lecture on project management and about people personality types. I'm totally a bittergourd. AKA a person who needs a lot of time to think, sensitive, pessimistic, low self-esteem, good at advice.
