So, now, I'm officially fever free, but not cured of the darn flu yet. The doctor said that my throat is a quite inflamed. D: There's a lot of phlegm in my throat. D: I'm so freaking scared of going back to wushu, because I know they're going to kill me for missing two sessions. D: damnnn. ahhhh! C&D is on tuesday. MEEEEEEEP. And fund-raising on monday. We had a convo on friday about it, and we were debating over a lot of ideas. Wan Qing got quite frustrated with us I think. D: Then I started typing all caps and trying to get everyone to an orderly decision, which worked, and I went something like; "Wan Qing, here's a tip: KEEP SHOUTING" "lol, monitor survival tips" then nat went something like "monitor tips 101" :D Hah. See!! one happy smiley! Then wan qing typed in all caps for the rest of the convo. D: So we're baking cookies. I can't go, cause I have something on, but I WANT. to go. D: D: D: I just can't wait to see everyone. :D Okay, I need to go to sleep. It's 10.22pm now. good night. :D
*might seriously want to consider infocomm club* Okay, updates on thursday and friday. :D The following icons were made by bubbly on LJ. :D Okay so, thursday we had the silly leadership training/first aid training. AND THE GIRL TO GIRL TALK. XD We had the Girl to Girl talk first thing in the morning, and it was er... weird. o_o They were talking about how to keep your skin smooth and clean etc, and they did a live demo on cleansingtoningmosturising on Gao Ge! :D Then they taught us about hemhem, and showed us a cartoon video on how to put on hemhem, which looks terribly painful, and I'm never going to put it anyway. D: And then we had leadership training in LT2, and we learnt about communication skills, and stuff, and we split into groups for a sort of amazingt race. I nearly caught a butterfly! urgh. The amazing race thingum was quite fun. So Phia and Wan Qing were writing on everyone's hands, and it stayed there for the rest of the day. xD Then we had first aid training, which I'm sorry to say that I only payed attention for the first half of the talk, because Callie was starting to randomly poke Wan Lin and I joined in and Wan Lin went to sit someone else and Callie still wanted to poke Wan Lin and she crawled under a table to do so, and I was laughing like crazy at the sight, and Wan Lin went to sit at the back an we had to go "We come in peace". xD Then we er... slacked? I honestly can't remember what happened next, so I'll directly skip to training. TRAINING WAS TERRIBLE. sknfdifasfdfr. Lucky Hilary and Qiu Hao! First we ran around the mat 10 rounds, then we did ji ben gong about twice what we usually do, and then we did jumping about 10 or so rounds and we did cartwheels for about 6 rounds or so, which equals to a total of about 12 cartwheels done. D: Then we trained, and I didn't lift my qiang high enough blahblahblah, and then it was 5, and the coach asked for us to gather (ji he) and I thought we finished with training, but acutally we hadn't and Chai gave us PT. First it was 4 sets of: 15 jump-knee-hugs, 20 star-jump-kneel-leg-stretch-leg-back-jump and 20 knee-jump-hug-alternates. Then he made us go to ma bu and whe he counted to three, push upwards on tiptoe. we did that about 10 or so times. Then he saw we still had time and told us to do 100 tiptoes. ONE ****ING HUNDRED. >__> Then we went home, and Ser Yeen and I joked we might consider Infocomm because it looked so slack. D:
Friday, which was yesterday, we er.... wait. I think I forgot. Meep. Er.... we er.... made fishes for C&D nite, and I honestly can't remember anything else. MY MEMORY FAILS ME. D: But I do remember we had C&D practice, and the teacher flared up at us. And it was scareh. D: We got to the part where Wan Lin was talking to Wan Qing and she came running and we all had spasms. D: okay, I think I'll stop here. My father's home.
Today's topic is: Interact'08! and my birthday. o__o Interact '08 was the coolest and the best. First I arrived at the conference room, and I put down my bag and went to sit with Amelia and the rest. Then I was given my camp tee, and I changed into it. My group sat in a circle and tried to get to know each other, but there was indeed awkward silence. D: Sec 1s in my group: Jie Lin, Cherie, Shauna, Moony(Boon Hui), Rachelle. Our leader was a sec 3 named Clara. And our facil. was En Han. And then we got all our picnic stuff and handphones etc and went for the amazing race, which was quite fun lah. I got to know some of my group mates. :D Then we ran around the CBD, and it was damn tiring lah. D: Then we went back to school because it was nearly times up and we played capatains ball in the quadrangle, and I got to talk to some of the people from the other team and I only touched the ball like 5 times, and Clara was damn pro at Captain's Ball, and shuana was so er..... agile. :D at catching the ball. Then we had this lecture and roleplay on hosting skills. I was the registration person for the second round. And then we had some icebreaker were we had to say our name, class, cca, one interesting fact, and I found out there was someone else sharing same birthday as me!!! :D Her name is er... Daphne? Her name is Stephanie, according to Callie. :D and she's very nice, but I didn't get to speak to her much. D: She knows a bunch of people from 112 and 113. :D Then we had a school tour. OH MAN I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO LEAD A TOUR IN CHINESE. D: and then we went to bathe, and my group, group 7 took over the toilet on the third level nearest to 212 213 that side. :D Then we er.... had dinner! <3>DAY 2. I woke up at like 6.45am and ate leftover bread, which was quite nice. :D Then we had to play the Squirrel and Trees game, and then reflections after breakfast. :D Then we uh....went back to the conference room, and planned next year's orientation. Actually I don't see the point of a orientation t-shirt, because anyway they only get to wear it once. o__o Then is it the David debate thingy? yeah, my group was just slacking through the debate. xD Next we got ready for the water games! :D The water games were damn fun, and we got splashed all over with water, soap and shampoo. Haha, SHAMPOO. For one of the stations we had the style someone's hair with shampoo, and we had fun throwing shampoo bubbles at each other and messing up with each other's hair. :D It was sunsilk shampoo, and it made the hair look really shiny. O__O Haha, then we went to dry ourselves and ate fried beehoon, then debrief and then I went home. :D

Tuesday Home Econs! Our udon + tonkatsu + potato salad! It was quite fail at first, because we were the slowest group, but in the end we SUCEEDED. So achieved. :D hen you cheng jiu gan. :D Then was LA, which we did the Socratic Seminar thing. FUNNNN. And then we had a little party in the Home Econs room during lunch. Just a few of us, not many. My group[Amelia, Vanny and I] and Nat, Danielle, So Phia, Sammy, Gah Yarn/Gahee, Bren and Callie.[*ugh, I have horrible memory, so SORRY if I left your name out. Wednesday Er.... My memory fails me maaaan. During Speecd Training, I "died". D: Got "knocked down" by Callie the "drunk maniac driver", while saving my "little sister" Fiona. :D Oh! Thurday Callie introduced me to the Gummy Bear Song, which is damn funny. We tried making different adjectives to fit the song. :D Tian Jiao sat with Callie and I during LA. Tian Jiao is damn fun to be with man. :D And then Fiona, Callie and I went to see Ma Lye to ask if we could have CIP hours for our beach cleanup that we three organised. She said yes! Then Fiona and I asked if we could appeal for PSL, becuse we both didn't get in. D: Ms Lye said she'll tell us. :D YAY! Then we had chinese! Gosh, it was the BEST chinese class I ever sat for. :D We played this culture game, in preparation for our culture test. D: :D [*because the culture test is bad and the game is good, therefore 2 smilies.] Oh, I grouped with Gahee, Rachel/Lychee, CS and Callie! We won 16 points, or 15 sweets[which consisted of chocs and skittles and seaweed peanuts, which no one took, the excpetion of Callie and Gahee.] because we dropped one choc on the floor. Friday[aka todayyyyy] Fridays are awesome. Need I say more? XD I LOST MY NAME TAG AND AM SUPER DEPRESSED. [at first] Assembly was first [it rained. I told hannah that if we all fell sick the next day, we knew what to blame] , then bio quiz which sucked. D: I think I failed again. D: D: D: D: D: D: Then er.... PE! Which was fun. We played captain's ball-ish game, but you have to hit the cone on the opposite side. Not topple over, but hit. Topple over is accepted. :D Er...then Chinese, we had to write a compo, and SUDDENLY, my Chinese cheem-ness, I mean vocab, reached a new high. I wrote words that I didn't know I could write before. I IMPROVED! SINCE PRIMARY SCHOOL! EVEN MY ENGLISH IMPROVED! :D Nanyang is NOT a chee-na school okay. :D And then Geog[haze presentation] and lastly MUSIC which was sucky at first because I think I failed my music quiz BUT we got to choose our instruments for project! I chose the keyboard. I think I'm the only one in the class who did. XD Fiona picked the organ, Callie picked Wan Qing's guitar, WL chose the metallaphones, and Jun Hui-Jie picked the tamborine. As you may have guessed, we are in the same group! Then I went home with Jun Hui-Jie and I ate Mcdonald's grape flavour burst, which I warn you, is totally stupid, because all the grape flavour is at the bottom, and I just tastes like vanilla cone at the top. D: Zao zhi dao jui bu mai le..... And it was raining. Therefore this post's title, "Eating Ice-cream in the rain". Mood meter: High

Bom training
It was more fun than I expected!
srsly! xD First we had a icebreaker, which we had to say our name, class and cca. I think I know most of the BOM's names know.
Then we played whacko, which was super funny, because one of the Amandas kept getting sabo-ed. And Chloe kept calling Yu Shan's name. xD
And then we got split into four groups for "amazing race" I got grouped with Shi Chen and Chloe, and a bunch of sec 3s and twos. ;D
We had to run around the school collecting numbers for a handphone number we must call to win and a sentence we must tell the person. ;D I was "in charge" of remembering the words with chloe.
And they made no sense.[at first]
They were the hanyupinyin of chi words, with no biaodianfuhao. e__e
Then we won!!!! Whoo. We got some sweets as the prize. Lychee flavoured! And we had lunch, which was chicken rice with veggies.
Then we had this lecture on project management and about people personality types. I'm totally a bittergourd. AKA a person who needs a lot of time to think, sensitive, pessimistic, low self-esteem, good at advice.

I had NYPS attachment today. The juniors I brought were very nice and very cooperative. We came in 1st place for English games[which was Taboo like last year] and we won second for Treasure Hunt. The tablet PC game was so fun, and very easy to earn points. :]
One of my teammates got their computer stuck. T____T
Anyway, one girl[I think her name was Nessa or something] she asked me what they would go through for DSA. They all want to go Nanyang! Hoorah! I told them I was in Wushu, and they wanted me to demonstrate, but we were in the middle of treasure hunt, so I didn't lah. :]
anyway, I had so much fun fun! :] I love attachment. Definitely signing up for the next one.
I got 49/60 for math! I want to 自杀 already.[just kidding. I don't ever want to leave my lovely 112 behind. ;D] At least I got A1, which is rather comforting.

Anyway, I can't believe I survived a week without posting! D: Teh Horrors of horrors. Yes, It's meant to be "teh" and not "the"
LSC ROCKS! [LSC=Lifeskills Camp. By the way] Oh my god, I never had so much fun in my entire life before.
Day 1: We did Mascot and Flag Making. Our flag rocked and it won us a prize in the end. ;D The mascot.....I'm not sure leh. We won so many prizes that I lost track! :D Our mascot turned out quite horrible....this purple round thingy. But Fiona's speech for it was AWESOME! Rock on Fiona! :]
Then we had the em..... Treasure Hunt! Yesyyesyes~ We really bonded as a class. The shu fa and the metre ruler song were the best! :] 112 rock on! WE eat your rocks! Ohyea. Then we went to play the raffia string game, and instead of making a perfect square as we were supposed to, we made a heart. I heart 112. Whooo. Then we played the quadripledrics[sp?] game. Very fun. A bit of Drama when the "ghosts" were pulling Grace away from me. Nooo Grace!!! She "died" in the end. Then we had time to practice for talentime. :] And then we ate. Every day at the residential camp we ate. Supper, Lunch, Breakfast, Dinner. :] Too much food provided in my opinion. Then Over the Hedge movie screening! Sleep. ZZZZ
Day 2: We went to Safra Mt Faber in the early monring. We[112ers] were banging the canteen table. :] And we played bomb. You know the one that goes "xx bomb, xxbomb, xx bomb to aa bomb"? Yeahh. We[ 112!!] didn't get bombed. We were quick attackers! Then we went to the place and on the way, Jun Hui let me read her magazine. I found out that Miley Cyrus likes Nick Jonas. @____@ So weird.
We went to play swimming games there, and then lunch and trekking and finally......... MASS DANCE! Whoo! I love mass dance. OPENOPENCLOSECLOSE longjiampas PIAH!

Day 3: We er..... got to clean up. We cleaned up 2 toilets you know! We cleaned the first one by mistake because on the booklet they had typo error. But then the second one we didn't do much 'cause the cleaning auntie helped us. :] Then we watched ai sha 17 using youtube.
Then we had to change places. I'm sitting with GRACE now! Yay! *hughug* :D Then we did surveys. 4 surveys. Teh horrors.
Then we went home. I went home with Jun Hui. Because she takes bus with me. She's my new Jiejie as well. :] Yayay!

Today was funnn. Lifeskills Camp rocks so far. And the bonus is that there is no homework. It's basically 2 whole weeks of no school.
So sad though, tomorrow still got wushu training. I hoe THEY don't make us do the gong bu chong quan for over 10 minutes again. D:
In the morning, I went to school with my very very very light and small bag, and just hang around the class while practising with Callie the talentime thing. I hope 112 wins! Go 112! Go egg go! Go egg go! Go egg go! <333333333333333>Chey.

My first fire drill in NYGH The alarm rang during Chinese Lesson. I was half asleep. Chinese lessons are boring. Boo...
Anyway, tomorrow's Friday! Er, not realated to topic. Sigh.
Anyway, they had a REAL Fire! I wonder if it was on pupose or fake. [the fire occured near the staicase next to 206 classroom=Diagonally down from us! D:]
Anyway, I was hurrying the class to escape and et to the boarding school. Mrs Wong[Science] was screaming at us to hurry "because the fire was spreading"! Then Mrs Wong told me to lead the class through the other way. I gathered about 5 other classmates to follow me down the Canteen stairs.
Grace led the rest through the Notice board stairs.
There were people extinguishing the fire! [I could see from the Quadrangle mah.] Using a fire extinguisher! [Speaking the obvious as usual.]
Then at the boarding school, I was first to reach the gathering place for 112, so I was waving the sign for Grace and the rest to see.
We were playing Tarzan and Broken Telephone when the whole class gathered. Yup, massive Broken telephone! :D We made a lot of noise. o_o
Anyway, the fire drill was so fun! I saw my wushu senior Alyssa sweeping up the ashes of the fire druing recess. EXTENDED RECESS CAUSE THEY ATE UP OUR RECESS WITH THE FIRE DRILL!
Hello lovelies! <3 It's friday, so that means UPDATE~ Yay.
I'm pretty poud of my class. We are actully caring about talentime! Yay. I mean, at first, some people absolutely didn't care. We have class spirit man! <3
Today, NYGH gave us yoghurt. FREE YOGHURT for fruits and vegetables day. Meiji Yoghurt. Man, I LOVE Nanyang! Last time in rgps, we just had parent volunteers sell fruits. My two favourite meiji yoghurt flavours: Aloevera and Mixed fruit. Strawberry isn't very nice. D;
Wushu CIP: I sat on the bus with Boon hui. She's a very nice girl. :] We went to this hospital and pushed their wheelchairs from their wards to the stage place. Then we watched the Guzheng, Lion Dance and Wushu people perform. The old folks there are very cheerful you know! :] The lion dance was a bit long. I kept wondering when it would end. The Guzheng performed very well. Good job gals! The wushu were , like whoa. When they did the ji ti in such a confined space,[The stage space was really small.] I was worried that they might accidentally hit one of the old folks. Haha, they almost did. They stopped just in time. :] Then we gave the old folks cookies and oranges. Bai nian you know! I was so hungry. One of my wushu friends gave me chocolates. <33 Thanks Yee Win![sp?] then we pushed them back to their wards.
It was a really good experience for me. My first time doing this type of CIP. :]
Whee! My father bought Wii. I can play during the weekend! Yay! <3333

We[Singapore] won the bid for YOG! I think we deserved something after all of Singapore's efforts to garner support for the bid. Plus, it helps promote sporting among the people! I received a brochure about our bid today during school. Our school sent 10 runners to run the torch relay thing. I think it's really cool. And now all my friends on msn are all celebrating our win for the YOG. :]

Anyway, I realised some things about my Sec1 wushu mates today. Hilary really likes to dance. Lilia and Esther have a lot of class spirit. [They shouted random thingslike, "1/08! /one eight rocks!"] Yeaaah.
