She took the midnight train going anywhereOkay, since I'm quite happy with my MSG this semester, I'll announce it to the world.
I got an MSg of 2.17.
There.
I bet all my batchmates have better msgs than me. ):
I suck.
But anyway, I just read Hilary's blog, and I really liked her reflections.
So I'm sortta doing one myself. Plus, I'm secretly promoting Glee, and the song fits okay!
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroitHe took the midnight train going anywhere.okay, so let's talk about friends first, because whether you like it or not (but you most probably will like it), you make them in school.
Dear my recess group;Thank you for enduring my complaints about life, school, people, world events etc. Thank you for helping me in every way possible. Thank you for chicken rice day, laksa day, mixed rice day, jap food day, chicken day etcetc. You guys are awesome. (: Thank you for making me choke on my food in laughter, joking, debating over whether longan is better than lychee (lychee okay.), drink buying, laughing over our "horror movies" etcetc. Thank you for the encouragement, TKAm presentation, and laughing over inside jokes.
Dear batchies ( be proud to be before teachers kay.);Thank you. So f**king much. Thank you for cheers, for laughs, for random emoing sessions. Thank you for bus rides, singing sessions and complaining sessions. Thank you for the hate of hemhem, being oh so organised in the placing of bags(sec 2 bench FTW!). Thank you for batch hugs, hugs, batch outings, drinks buying and sleeping. Thank you for gossip sessions, slacking sessions, and computer lab trips.Thank you for racing to the water cooler, drinking cold water, and sharing cold water. Thank you for your never ending care and concern and love for each other. Thank you for BEDTIME STORIES, pizza eating and zi pai-ing sessions. I love the sweat and tears and laughter. Thank you, you guys really rock.
Dear teachers (LMAO they don't even read this.);Thank you for the knowledge, for trying to push up my grades, for the extensions. thnak you.
Dear 212 '09';Hey, I know sometimes we can be very divided, and we argue a lot. Just focus on the positive, and keep being the slackerish, easily humoured class that we are. Thank you for the accidental jokes, the "that look", the "discussion topic" of "laptops" LLS and YLS during LA. You guys are each so wonderful inside out, and this migtht sound a little kiddy and mushy, but you guys are absolutely wonderful. I'll be very sad to leave you guys next year. ):
Dear CCA mates;Thank you seniors for helping us improve and loudly complaining our stupidity in hopes we listen and change. :) Thank you seniors for your smiles and complains about hemhem, because you know we don't like him too.
Thank you juniors for your randomness, your talkativeness and your self-confidence. Something maybe I don't have . (: Thank you for joking with the sec 2s, until it seems sometimes you're in the same batch as us.
Dear friends who I know, including psl, bom, mutual friends, and 213;Thank you for making me laugh, for showing me we don't only have to be "hi-bye" friends. (: I hope to get to know more of you soon.
